Schools and children

From November 12 to 16, 2025, children and young people from kindergarten to high school will have the opportunity to meet some of their favorite writers at the scrittorincittà headquarters or to welcome them directly into their own school.

Reservations can only be made by calling 0171.444822, Monday to Friday from 4pm to 6:30pm, according to the following schedule:

Preschools : from October 7th to 17th Primary schools : from October 8th to 17th Secondary schools: from October 9th to 17th

All appointments are free.

For each call made, you can book only ONE APPOINTMENT for a maximum of 2 classes. Multiple calls are permitted.

During the booking process, you will be asked for contact information (cell phone number and email address of the class teacher), the exact number of students in each class, and the teachers who will accompany them. Please have all this information available when you call.

PLEASE NOTE: Appointments held at schools and institutes can only be booked by schools in Cuneo and surrounding areas. Again, please specify the details of the class attending. Some appointments may require technical or stationery supplies; if so, you will find this information in the appointment description.

BOOKS: In the month preceding the festival, the books featured in the meetings (specified in all the descriptive texts) are on sale at city bookstores. During the event, you will also find them in the rooms where the meetings will take place and in the scrittorincittà bookshop (at the Provincial Meeting Center).

FOR THOSE WISHING TO ARRIVE BY BUS (Cuneo and surrounding areas): Please note that, in agreement with the Municipality of Cuneo, GrandaBus offers discounted rates for school groups in the Cuneo area using both scheduled and private buses.

CONCESSION PROVIDED FOR SCHOOLS OF ALL TYPES AND LEVEL BASED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF CUNEO:

• You can book a "reserved" bus (i.e., not tied to city bus stops and routes) in Band 1 (Band 1 includes the entire geographical area within the Municipality of Cuneo, including its surrounding areas): return fare:  €58.00, 10% VAT included. Please note: journeys and schedules must be agreed upon in advance by email to: info@grandabus.it.
• possibility of booking a scheduled bus in Band 1 (band 1 means the entire geographical area within the Municipality of Cuneo including the hamlets) : return fare €15.00 including 10% VAT, maximum 25 passengers per journey,

Please note: Schedules must be agreed upon in advance by email to info@grandabus.it . The service provider will ensure that the requested journey is large enough for a group, that it occurs during peak hours, and that overlapping groups are avoided.

CONCESSION PROVIDED FOR SCHOOLS LOCATED OUTSIDE THE MUNICIPALITY OF CUNEO OF ALL TYPES AND GRADES INCLUDING PARITARY SCHOOLS:

Those coming from outside Cuneo have the option of requesting a "group ticket" on buses on extra-urban lines at the cost of the ticket without the on-board increase for the relevant route (for example, Saluzzo-Cuneo €4.60 per journey per person instead of €6.10 per journey per person with the on-board increase).
