Volunteers

How to participate

Every year scrittorincittà comes to life thanks to the essential help of the many volunteers who enthusiastically participate in the event by collaborating on:

  • information services
  • ticket office support
  • support for events and workshops
  • press room assistance
  • support for secretarial activities

…all the tasks that become necessary from time to time

The application must be completed directly online!

After reading the guide to volunteering at scrittorincittà and (if you are a minor) having had theauthorization signed by a parent, fill out the form (find the link below) by October 21, 2026.

If the number of requests exceeds the number of people we need, we'll have to make a selection. The choice will be made based on various factors (experience, availability, skills, etc.) and not just the delivery date.

Applications will be given special consideration if you are available for multiple shifts (please note that a minimum of four shifts is required, two of which must be on Saturdays or Sundays). Offering more time will help us organize the shifts, but it will also allow you to gain a more in-depth and varied experience!

We will notify you by October 26th whether your application has been accepted or not.

For insurance purposes, you mustjoin the "Volunteering in scrittorincittà" project run by ABL-Amici delle Biblioteche e della Lettura (EES). Membership is free and will be automatic if your application is selected.

You will receive all the event gadgets for free.
