young artists and writers tell the story of migration

The collaboration between the Cuneo scrittorincittà festival and the Lingua Madre Competition is renewed thanks to a meeting dedicated to the winners of the 19th edition, whose works are published in the anthology Lingua Madre Duemilaventiquattro. Stories of Women No Longer Foreigners in Italy (SEB27 Editions). Like stars, the authors offer new perspectives on the role of women in the contemporary context. They shed light on their right to fully experience their femininity and the freedom that comes with it, anywhere in the world. The protagonists will be Shima Allahi, Man Azadam , and Sonia Canu, celebrating relationships and dialogue, memory and feelings. This is an opportunity for the public to discover how migration, whether experienced or merely reinterpreted, is not something that defines these authors, but rather a novel approach to complexity. This is the context for our reflection on the book Con forza e intelligenza (Il Poligrafo), dedicated to the figure of the feminist and essayist Aida Ribero: a legacy, a guiding thought for all women, for "those who wish to base their knowledge on the foundation of a memory that has given us a new identity."
