Sound and word, music and literature, and their relationship have fueled countless debates over the centuries and inspired the creativity of extraordinary artists and writers. The identity of these two paths, musical and literary, their convergences and unique characteristics, their mutual attraction and respective autonomy, are at the heart of the two-part project with which EstOvest Festival is participating in scrittorincittà 2025. Special attention is given to the work of Luciano Berio, one of the greatest musical figures of the 20th century, and his contemporaries Italo Calvino and Umberto Eco. With Sara Mazzarotto, Edoardo Dadone, and Augusto Buscaglia.
