Augusto Buscaglia

Augusto Buscaglia, an expert in credit and financial economics, was Head of the Research Department at Istituto Bancario San Paolo, Deputy Director of San Paolo Fondi spa,
Head of the Planning and Management Control Department at San Paolo – IMI, and Deputy General Manager of Banca OPI, a bank specializing in financing public works and infrastructure. He has served as a board member of the San Paolo Pension Fund, the Torino Finanza Committee, and the Iren Group, and was Chairman of Equiter spa, a company specializing in equity investments in public companies and startups.
He taught a course in finance for local governments at the Catholic University of Piacenza for five years, and since 2015, he has taught economics at Unitre in Alessandria.
He is a board member of two startups and a member of the organizational team of the Long Term Investor think tank at the Collegio Carlo Alberto in Turin, which organizes courses in finance for long-term investments.
He is President of the EstOvest Festival music association and a member of the board of the Polimnia musical ensemble.
