Richard Bertoncelli
Who is?

Riccardo Bertoncelli is a music critic and writer.

At 15 he discovered his irrepressible passion for rock.

At 17 he founded his first fanzine and in 1973 he published the first Italian book on the music that was infecting the younger generations (“Pop story”).

In the 1970s, his work as an author of volumes on the pop genre was combined with that of a reviewer and essayist for specialized magazines such as “Muzak” and “Gong”.

In 1980 he was director of “Musica 80″ and with Franco Bolelli he edited the “Almanacco Musica” for Il Formichiere.

In 1991 he made his debut as series editor for Arcana and in recent years he has coordinated the “Bizarre” music area within the Giunti publishing group.

He has radio experience and collaborations with "Linus," "la Repubblica," "Max," and "Rockerilla." A collection of his articles, titled Paesaggi Immaginari (Giunti Publishing House, 1998), has also been published, featuring articles written here and there in a freewheeling manner.
