Guido Affini

Guido Affini was born in Pavia in 1963. He earned a degree in History out of a passion for stories. At the age of ten, he joined the Pavia scout group and left twenty years later, only because the bookstore had become the place where he found his educational adventures. He has been reading children's books for many years now, and after sharing the crazy adventures of the bookstore with his partner Andrea Grisi, he follows the crazy adventures of his friends: Andrea Valente, Francesco Mastrandrea, and Matteo Corradini. He collaborates and works with the Children's Bookstore Coordination Committee, founded around the experience of Roberto Denti. He is one of the managers of the Il Delfino bookstore in Pavia, which won the 2010 Andersen Prize for promoting reading.
