204 Women's Circles: Perspectives on Migration and Conflict

The Lingua Madre Competition renews its collaboration with scrittorincittà with a meeting dedicated to the winners of the 20th edition, whose texts are published in the anthology Lingua Madre Duemilaventicinque. Stories of women no longer foreigners in Italy (SEB27 Editions). The protagonists will be Loranda Domi and Nancy Jissel Solis Realpe, who have experienced or reinterpreted migration, whether their own or that of their family, to come to recognize and rediscover themselves as whole, complex women. Women, therefore, "searching" for their place in the world without denying their multiple belongings, but also "in a circle," holding hands, linked in a network of listening and mutual exchange. This perspective also fits into the reflection on Pagine di pace. Pensieri, scritti, pratiche di donne (iacobellieditore), which proposes a change in civilization born of female freedom and relationships, through which women reinvent the social pact. The collection will be presented by curators Luisa Ricaldone and Daniela Finocchi.
