Steel cells, crates buried underground, chains that seem impossible to break: Harry Houdini spent his life proving that no prison could hold him. Starting from nothing, with only a deck of cards and an ambitious dream, he became the legendary king of prison escapes, enchanting the entire world. Massimo Polidoro (All the Secrets of Houdini, Piemme) recounts the life of the magician who, show after show, proved that the only thing no one can ever imprison is imagination.
