Juliet between the lines
secondary school 1st grade

Location: Provincial Meeting Center, Falco Hall
Ticket for schools, upon reservation

Juliet is a significant name, worthy of a significant story, like the one Vichi De Marchi tells in Call Me Juliet (Feltrinelli), taking us back in time to the war years of almost a century ago. In an Italy so different, yet ultimately so similar to today's, a young girl runs toward her future, full of hopes and fears, dreams and a few nightmares. It's a story of courage and emotion, a bit like the story of our grandmothers, then our mothers, then of us today. And each of us, whether named Juliet or not, can find traces of her own days between the lines. Interview with Andrea Valente.
