With thousands of pieces of information at our fingertips, Google answering all our doubts in real time, we're all know-it-alls these days. Yet we're also tied to old ideas, like popular wisdom or certain philosophies that see humanity as the pinnacle, thanks to reason and the most refined technology in the known world. Alessandro Mustazzolu (Nobody's Never Died, Gribaudo) and Giorgio Volpi (Nature Does It Better (and Sooner), Aboca) dismantle the system with the savory irony of real things, the kind that deflates do-it-yourself specializations, the "it's always been done this way" sentiment, opening us up to a surprising nature that knows how to do things before and better than us, only to then hide and revel in the way we too often read and interpret it. Moderated by Raffaele Riba.
