Stefania Maurizi
Who is?

Stefania Maurizi is an investigative journalist who collaborates with "Il Fatto Quotidiano," after fourteen years at "la Repubblica" and "l'Espresso." Among international journalists, she is the only one to have worked on all the classified WikiLeaks documents and has waged legal battles in the United States, the United Kingdom, Sweden, and Australia to defend the press's right to access all documents relating to the Julian Assange and WikiLeaks case. She worked with Glenn Greenwald on the Snowden files for Italy, revealed the confidential US government document on the killing of Giovanni Lo Porto by a US drone strike, and interviewed the father of Pakistan's nuclear program, AQ Khan. Her book, "The Secret Power: Why They Want to Destroy Julian Assange and WikiLeaks" (Chiarelettere 2021), based on fifteen years of investigative work on the case, has been translated into English, French, Spanish, and German and has won four major journalism awards.
