Mattia Corrente

Born in 1987, he lives in Sicily, in a small town in the province of Messina overlooking the enchanting panorama of the Aeolian Islands. After completing high school, he earned a degree in Philosophy and Human Sciences. He has collaborated as a ghostwriter with major Italian publishing houses. His first novel, Anna's Escape (Sellerio Editore), won the Clara Sereni Prize, the Edoardo Kihlgren Opera Prima Prize, the Città di Erice Prize, and the Parco Majella Prize, and has been translated into Czech, Polish, and French.
