Gianumberto Accinelli

An entomologist and writer, he channels his passion for nature through eco-narrative projects. His audience includes schools, businesses, associations, and anyone interested in sharing their experiences of nature. He has written numerous books, including The Wonderful Life of Butterflies, The Wonderful Life of Bees, The Invisible Threads of Nature (winner of the German Youth Literature Award), and My Grandfather Was a Monkey. He loves telling nature stories on the radio. Every Thursday morning, he joins Radio Deejay's "Il volo del mattino" program, and every Saturday morning, he is live from Corso Sempione on Rai Radio 2's "Ovunque6." Gianumberto Accinelli was selected by "Corriere della Sera" as one of the twenty people who are changing Italy.
