Who is?

Erica Mou – stage name Erica Musci – is a singer-songwriter from Puglia, born in 1990. She has already performed over eight hundred concerts in Italy and abroad and has released seven studio albums.
Erica began studying singing and guitar at an early age and made a name for herself by winning numerous awards at a very young age. With the song "Nella Vasca da Bagno Del Tempo," Erica participated in the 2012 Sanremo Music Festival in the Sanremo Social section, dedicated to young artists, garnering widespread acclaim from the press, which awarded her two notable accolades: the Premio Mia Martini critics' award and the Premio Sala Stampa Radio Tv.
Her single "Dove Cadono i Fulmini" was chosen by Rocco Papaleo for the soundtrack of his film "Una Piccola Impresa Meridionale" (Paco Film, distributed by Warner). The song was nominated for the 2014 David di Donatello Award in the Best Original Song category.
Her debut novel, Thirsty Sea, was published in spring 2022 in the UK, translated by Clarissa Botsford for Héloïse Press. Asymptote magazine called it "some of the most candid and noble writing in recent memory" and it was selected among the best books of 2022 by the prestigious British literary magazine TLS (The Times Literary Supplement).
In summer 2025, she was also involved in a new theatrical production with Concita De Gregorio, the reading "In mezzo a un milione di rane e farfalle" (In the midst of a million frogs and butterflies), for which she wrote original music. During the same period, she was a guest at the Procida Racconta literary festival directed by Chiara Gamberale, during which she wrote the moving story "Il figlio dell'isola" (The son of the island), published by Nutrimenti and the weekly magazine F.
In April 2026, Erica Mou released a new song, "lasciarti andare."
