Elisa Puricelli Guerra lives in Milan and works as a writer and translator. A passionate traveler, she spent several years in London and has visited New York several times, where she has set some of her stories, drawing inspiration from its eccentric inhabitants. In 2013, she won the Bancarellino Prize with Cuori di carta (Einaudi Ragazzi). In 2021, Il segreto del pettirosso (Salani) was a finalist for the Orbil Prize and the Bancarellino Prize. Her most recent novels are #SIAMOLAVOSTRAVOCE (Einaudi Ragazzi) and Dimmi che sei felice (Mondadori), a finalist for the 2026 Andersen Prize.
