Concita De Gregorio

Concita De Gregorio, a journalist and writer, a longtime contributor to "la Repubblica," where she currently works, was the editor of "l'Unità" for three years. She has four children. In 2001, she published Don't Wash Away This Blood (Laterza). Mondadori has published A Mother Knows: All the Shadows of Perfect Love (2006) and Malamore: Exercises in Resistance to Pain (2008). In 2010, A Timeless Country: Facts and Figures in Twenty Years of Italian News was published (il Saggiatore). Einaudi has published Life Is Such (2011 and 2016), I Curse You (2013 and 2017), A Day on the Island, written with her son Lorenzo, (2014 and 2017), What Girls Think (2016 and 2017), In Time of War (2019 and 2021), and The Cure (2026). Einaudi republished Don't Wash Away This Blood and A Mother Knows in 2016, and Malamore in 2017.
