She was born in Padua, amid the scent of lime trees and the green sparkles of fireflies. Today she lives in Lecce, amid the flights of swallows and the waves of the azure sea. She is the author of children's and young adult books published by various Italian publishers, some of which have been translated and sold internationally. With two friends, she founded and curated the Picturebook Festival in Lecce, a festival of art and literature for children. She holds workshops, meetings, and classes. She would like to have her own chicken, a donkey with a white nose, a tree with a swing, and three tomato plants. She enjoys: riding her bike, stroking dogs' ears, taking photographs, observing others, smelling the scent of honeysuckle, eating coconut and banana ice cream, listening to children's questions, and imagining. Above all, she enjoys writing stories.
