An immersive meeting dedicated to the exploration of cinematic language, understood as a tool for understanding and interpreting the world. Starting from the idea that cinema is a language in its own right, Manlio Castagna will guide participants through its codes, forms, and expressive possibilities. Through selected clips and a direct, dialogic approach, the main elements of film analysis: shots, sound, tension building, and the relationship between images and narrative. The lecture also offers insights into the dialogue between cinema and literature and the functioning of narrative structures. Cinema can foster critical thinking, empathy, and the ability to interpret reality, offering insights and tools that can be immediately applied in educational contexts.
