Visions of the sacred

location Palazzo Samone
ticket , no reservation required

Eighteen artists from the Magau group, hailing from Cuneo, Bernezzo, Boves, Caraglio, Dronero, and Villar San Costanzo, reflect on the meanings of the "sacred" today using diverse techniques and languages, in paintings, sculptures, and mixed-media works. "Magau" is an ancient Piedmontese peasant tool, chosen as a metaphor for operational transparency and critical attention to its own time. Also on display are paintings by Gemma Asteggiano (1943–2026), lent by her husband Giuseppe Ferrero as a tribute to her. Artists: Valeria Arpino, Gemma Asteggiano, Cristina Bollano, Cesare Botto, Carlo Cavallo, Cornelio Cerato, Mario Conte, Roberto De Siena, Marina Falco, Cristiano Fuccelli, Adriana Giorgis, Franco Marabotto, Paola Meineri Gazzola, Corrado Odifreddi, Massimo Ovidi, Paolo Peano, Claudio Signanini, Gigi Sostegni. Opening: November 6, 5:30 pm.

Palazzo Samone (via Amedeo Rossi 2) • Friday and Saturday 3.30pm-7.30pm: Sunday 10am-12.30pm and 3.30pm-7.30pm • Free admission
