Which comes first: the characters or the stories? And how does a fictional character take shape? Sometimes all it takes is an object, a gesture, a special place to remind us of someone or spark a new story. During the meeting with Francesca Avanzini, we'll start with the book Not Far From Here (Lapis) to explore together how characters are born. Through creative activities and moments of discussion, we'll discover how to bring unique and believable characters to life. An opportunity to listen, share stories, and maybe even start writing!
NB: For the meeting, the school must provide the following materials: flip chart (or large sheets of paper hung on the wall), markers.
