Anis knows what it means to lose: a tragic mountain accident took her father away. Two years later, she continues to text him on his cell phone. Does she expect a response? Of course not, she's not stupid, but texting her father makes her feel better. Then one day, out of the blue, she receives a response. With a pounding heart, she decides to set out in search of a man she believes is still alive. Daniele Nicastro (Five Days to Never Tell You Goodbye, Einaudi Ragazzi) takes us on an extraordinary journey through the Varaita Valley that will allow Anis to grow, take risks, and find herself again.
