Sabotage of the
secondary atomic bomb of the second degree

Location: Provincial Meeting Center, Falco Hall
Ticket for schools, upon reservation

During World War II, a pivotal event unfolded on the rugged highlands of Nazi-occupied Norway. The intertwining of several stories, all centered around attempted sabotage of the Nazi-controlled heavy water production plant, unfolds amidst soldiers, spies, Norwegian partisans, gliders, key figures in world physics in the first half of the 20th century, armed conflicts, and plenty of snow. The story of a true event provides an opportunity to narrate, in comics, the race for the atomic bomb, with its leading scientists (such as Fermi and Oppenheimer), but also with its ethical doubts, the role of science, and the lust for power. Luca Malagoli presents Telemark. Atomic Sabotage (Sinnos). With him, Giorgio Scianna.
