What are we willing to endure to build our future? Tiziana Ferrario (La voglia di lasciare, Fuoriscena) begins with the personal experience of her son Edoardo, an engineer who left for abroad and then returned amidst a thousand difficulties, but above all she speaks about us and the risk Italy is facing. In the last decade, approximately one million young people have left the country to build a life elsewhere: an entire generation is on the run, disillusioned by the lack of opportunities and salaries that make it impossible to imagine an independent life. But even leaving isn't easy. A journey of research and discovery, in which the story is at once personal experience, an investigation into a widespread phenomenon, and a collective testimony.
