Who among us can light a fire with two stones? Yet those sparks are the foundation of what we are today, discovery after discovery, insight after insight. And then, if you think about it, a tree is much more solid than we are, a fish swims better, a bird flies higher, a bee is more stinging, a microbe is more invisible, and almost every living being is more something than we are. How, then, did we survive as a species? Not only do we survive, but we are the ones who manage and modify entire ecosystems. Massimo Polidoro (A Brief History of Knowledge. From Fire to AI: How Man Learned to Change the World, Feltrinelli), starting from the spark in the cave, takes us to the artificial present day and, who knows, to the threshold of the future. Raffaele Riba.
The meeting is accessible in Italian Sign Language (LIS).
