After years spent on the run, far from his children and his wife Velia, Giacomo Matteotti, nicknamed "Tempesta" for his passion and determination, decides to move to Rome to live with his family. It is the autumn of 1923. Only a few months later, he will be kidnapped and murdered by fascist squads. Luisa Mattia, author of the historical novel Tempesta Matteotti (Lapis), will recount his final months and the terrible yet courageous choices that made him an extraordinary example of freedom. We will meet him and a series of characters who will provide us with a profound understanding of the lives of those who, during that period, supported or suffered the rise of the fascist regime in Italy.
