Fashion is not a profession for lonely hearts. Fashion, at times, smells of the land it comes from. Fashion, at other times, feels the breath of the entire world. Fashion certainly has a story, and at times it's the story of a couple, of Sardinia, of a house where it all begins, of a tailor's shop, in a world that seems imaginary and the product of a García Márquez-style magical realism. Fashion has many souls, and it's worth sharing them. With her cheerful and irreverent voice, Patrizia Sardo Marras (La moda non è un mestiere per cuori solitari, Bompiani) retraces for us the journey of two young people who started out in a fabric shop in the center of Alghero and landed in the spotlight on the runways of Paris and New York thanks to their loyalty to their roots combined with a bold vision. She interviews Serena Piazza.
