Big eyes on the world
III-IV-V primary school

Location: Provincial Meeting Center, Blue Room
Ticket for schools, upon reservation

Along the river's banks, a population of tiny creatures, just six centimeters tall, lives: with their large eyes they gaze at the world, their upturned noses search the sky, their round ears patiently listen to every rustle of the wind. They are the Sassifonde, and this is the story of how, in dark months when the rain never stopped falling and the river swelled ever higher, they found a way to transform fear into solutions and waiting into hope. Nicoletta Gramantieri and Irene Penazzi (Il piccolo popolo del fiume, Il Castoro) have created a short, poetic tale about what it means, when the world around us is changing so rapidly, to learn to look at it with new eyes.
