They call him Tempesta (Tempest), for his passionate and determined character. He is Giacomo Matteotti. In 1923, after years spent as a fugitive from fascist violence, he chose to move to Rome to live with his wife and children. It is here, on the streets of the Flaminio neighborhood, that this story begins... With the help of Luisa Mattia, author of Tempesta Matteotti (Lapis), we will discover the final months of Matteotti's life. Thanks to his courage and free spirit, he managed – today as yesterday – to be an extraordinary example of freedom and democracy. Thanks to the novel's characters, we will discover his story and the lives of ordinary people who, during that period, accompanied or suffered the rise of the fascist regime in Italy. With her is Serena Piazza.
