Gestures that light up the day • Meeting with Mario Calabresi and presentation of the program

Wednesday, October 29 , 9 pm • Toselli Theatre (via Teatro Toselli 9, Cuneo) • Free , online reservations

On Wednesday, October 29th, we'll discover the program for the 27th edition of scrittorincittà. We'll do so in the company of Mario Calabresi, in Cuneo for the presentation of the book Alzarsi all'alba (Mondadori).

Gestures that light up the day

From small provincial shops to sporting exploits, from the hands of restorers to the determination of those who rise again after illness: Rising at Dawn (Mondadori) gives voice to men and women who resist hardship and find meaning in perseverance and passion. Mario Calabresi narrates the lives of "discreet fighters" who don't seek the spotlight but, with patience, become models of resilience and the threads of a stronger, more cohesive community. People who find, in the first gestures of the day, the strength to hold together their own lives and those of the community.

Interview with the author Massimo Mathis.
